Dear Ginny,
I can not keep lying to you; I am going to receive the Dark Mark. I know you tell me that I am better then that and I don't need to be branded by a man who kills for the fun of it. But I am going to receive it. You see, I believe in what the Dark Lord preaches to us, and I have made up my mind to become a follower. My father is not forcing me to take the mark; I am taking it under my own free will. I do love you Ginny, I really do. I already know that once you read this letter that you will have chosen to remain faithful to the light and I understand that, the light is your side and the dark is mine. I am sorry that your efforts in turning me away from the dark side have failed. Just promise me one thing Ginny, okay? Promise me that you will fall in love again, but with someone who will stay by your side no matter what, that's all I ask of you Ginny.
Once again I love you and I am truly sorry that our relationship is ending this way.
