Inside the Chaotix' headquarters, Vector was listening to music on his iPod while Espio was meditating. Suddenly, Charmy burst in through the door.

"Guys, guys, guys! We have a customer!" Charmy shouted excitedly.

"Charmy, seriously, do you have to drop in like that every time we get a customer?" Espio asked, annoyed.

"Well, who is this customer?" Vector asked.

A young rhino walked in. "That would be me." The young rhino said.

"Well, hello, kid. How can we help you?" Vector asked.

"My name is Steve Rhino, I'm a 6 year old billionaire, and my Crown of Everlasting Wonder has been stolen by a crook named Danny the Albatross." The young rhino said. "I could use your detective skills to track him down."

"And uh, what's in it for us?" Charmy asked.

Steve got out a silver briefcase and opened it. It was full of stacks of 20's.

"This is what's in it for you." Steve said.

Vector's jaw dropped at the sight of the money.

"Whoa, with all this money we can buy a new headquarters!" Vector said. "Okay, we'll do it."

"Well, this is definitely a customer we can trust, so we'll do it." Espio said.

"Alright, where to first?" Charmy asked.

"Well, we should go to Steve's mansion first to look for tracks." Vector said.

"Yes, let's go." Steve said.

Later, the quartet arrived at Steve's mansion.

"So, where was the crown?" Vector asked.

"It was in the treasure room on a pedestal under a glass dome." Steve said.

"Could you lead us there?" Espio asked.

"Of course I can. Right this way, gentlemen." Steve said.

Steve led the Chaotix to the treasure room.

Vector nodded. "So this is where the crown once was?"

Steve nodded. "Danny came in here and stole it. You have to get it back."

Vector grinned. "We will find it, that's for sure. By the way, do you have a motorcycle or anything with wheels I can use?"

"Sure, I got a motorcycle." Steve said.

Vector smiled. "Can I use it?" The crocodile asked.

"Of course." Steve said.

"Alright. Espio, Charmy, let's all do our part in our quest to find that crown. Let's split up and each go our own way in this quest."

"I'm fine with that." Espio said.

"Same here!" Charmy said excitedly.

"Good. I'll see you soon." Vector said as he followed Steve to his garage. Espio and Charmy left the mansion and went their own ways. Soon, Vector drove out of Steve's garage on Steve's motorcycle. Steve waved at Vector as he left.

Vector: Crocodile Highway, Act 1

"Oh yeah, time to burn some rubber." Vector said as a huge smile came to his face.

Vector drove down the highway and mowed down baddies as he did. He drove through loops and jumped ramps as he drove for the Goal Ring. Once Vector reached the Goal Ring, the crocodile whistled and exclaimed: 'That was easy!'

Espio and Charmy's first acts of their first stages will be done in the next chapter, and I might also introduce Mighty. 'Til then!
