Back with another one shot! (I'm supposed to be doing extra math work, but…) I felt like it so yeah.
What If?
Chad Danforth watched his best friend pace around the room before he proposed to Gabriella Montez, his girlfriend of 5 yeas. It was slightly dizzying, if you asked him.
"What if she says no? Huh? What then, Chad?" asked a frantic Troy.
"Dude, just calm down. She's gonna say yes!" said Chad.
"How do you know? There's still a chance of her saying no!" replied Troy.
Chad sighed. "I'm no math-whiz, but I'd say there'd be a 1% of her saying yes."
"And this is why I failed in math when you 'tutored' me." Said Troy, snorting. "But what if she's not ready and hates me or breaks up with me?!" cried Troy, nearly pulling his hair out.
"Just get it over with, Hoops!" yelled Chad, his impatience level wearing down.
"But I can't! 'Cause what if she hates me for it?! Then it would be your fault!" Troy nearly screamed with frustration/anxiety.
"Go." Said Chad, shoving the small ring box into Troy's hands and pushing him out to the garden where Gabriella was, absorbed in a book.
*10 years later
"Aren't you glad I made you propose to Gabriella?" said Chad, smirking.
Troy glared at his best friend and said "Shut. Up."
