Temple RUN! (2)

Danny and Scarlett Fox are snatched away to a mysterious place called The Temple when they turn 13. They meet Barry and Karma and find out that they are in a temple where they have to keep running away from a monster called the "Giant Demon Gorilla Thing."

I remember the our 13th birthday like it was yesterday. My twin brother and I were at LaserIsland for our birthday party. Suddenly this guy came in and grabbed us. Our parents tried to stop him but they were kicked aside like nothing. We screamed and kicked but the guy just closed his eyes and then we were somewhere else. The guy put us down. Daniel, my twin, fainted when he saw how far off the ground we were. I almost did too! We were above the clouds! Freaking higher than any airplane would dare to go! The man said "Oh, two little kiddies! You two will have plenty of training time!" Dan woke up just about then and started screaming. He turned around and kicked the dude in the balls. He doubled over and I kicked him off of the edge of the temple. Right before he fell off a little gold statue fell from his pocket. It looked like a little ugly man. "Cool, gold!" Me and Danny did a high five. "Call me Guy Dangerous from now on." Danny said in a joking tone. He looked over at me and saw my horrified expression. "Scarlett, are you okay? You look like you... Oh." He looked over to what I was looking at and grabbed my arm. It was a giant monster gorilla man. "Found my idol, have you? Well I'd like it back now!" He said in a deep growling voice. We took off running and haven't stopped running since.

Guy, as I started to call him, and I found two other people a couple of weeks later. My new boyfriend, Barry Bones, and Karma Lee, his basically adopted sister. Karma and Mr. Dangerous are dating too. We don't go on very romantic dates often though, because there is always a certain gorilla man trying to get a certain gold figure from us. We've tried destroying it, but that brings Stinky closer. I don't know how to get out! I miss my family. Me and Guy are 19 now. It's been such a long time.

When I wake up in the morning I hear Barry's deep voice. "Ms. Fox, time to get up. He kisses my forehead just to assure I'm awake. " What's for breakfast?" I ask, not really expecting anything. Barry looks at me and says "Just wake up the others. And wash your face in the stream. I did mine this morning."

I go wake up Guy and Karma. When we come back to the clearing refreshed from the splash and I gasp. Sitting where Barry should be is a plate of , the eggs isn't what made me gasp. Right next to the eggs is the Gorilla Demon man.
