One day, our little group of friends decided to play Truth or Dare, with a little persuasion from Rosalie and Alice. We went on, with little dares and personal questions, until, finally, it was Alice's turn. It was obvious to us girls who she was going to choose, and, just like we suspected, she turned to Jasper, grinning subtly.

"Jasper, truth or dare?" She questioned with a devious grin.

"Uhm, I'm afraid, Ali... So I'll go with truth?" He answered back, with a rather adorably afraid look plastered on his face. I looked knowingly at Alice, she was obviously melting inside at what Jasper was doing. It was rather adorable how Alice always found what Jasper did to be adorable, even the way he stuffs his face with popcorn at the movies and looks like a chipmunk afterwards, as he tried to chew it all without opening his mouth. And, if that wasn't love, I honestly had no idea what love was. Too bad he had no idea how she felt about him...

Alice pouted, looking like a kicked puppy, which Edward, my boyfriend, and I know he was probably melting inside as well. "Fine, then," Alice said, disappointment punctuating her words. After thinking for a bit, she smiled softly. "If someone told you they loved you, what would you do?"

"I'd say it back." Jasper answered, his eyes sparkling as he held back his laughter; Alice always had the worst 'truth' questions.

"Would you say it back only if it was true? Or all the time?" Alice interrogated, forgetting, like always, that it was the end of her turn.

"It'd only be true if I said it to you, Ali," Jasper answered, before realizing what he was saying. Both sets of eyes, blue and hazel, widened, and they refused to look at anything but the carpet.

"Ali... truth or dare?" Jasper asked, realizing it was his turn, after a few minutes.

"Truth," Alice mumbled.

"If nothing lasts forever, would you be my nothing?" He asked, honestly in the most adorable voice.

"Only if you'd be the promise not to hurt me, but feel like shit when you accidentally do." Alice replied, finally looking up at him.

"Then it's a done deal," Jasper replied breathlessly before capturing her lips with his for a kiss.

And that's how their relationship changed, from best friends to lovers, and eventually to a marriage. Too bad things didn't stay perfect for long.
