When you see the two men walking down the street in Cardiff, you wouldn't see that there was anything different about them. If you knew them you would. You would know that the shorter one of them, yes that one, the one with the suit. He kept his cyberized girlfriend in a basement. The other one, the one with the great long coat, he is what most humans would call "a freak of nature". But they don't care.
When you see the two men talking to each other, whilst one of them pours the other one a cup of coffee you wouldn't know what they do in the dead of the night. You wouldn't know how they found out the multiple uses of a stopwatch. Because that's something that they don't talk about to the outside world, at least not to you. They keep their feelings to themselves. What you would know if you knew them is that they care about each other. It's untraditional love.
When you see the man walking down the street in Cardiff, you wouldn't know that he's just lost his love. You wouldn't know how he feels whenever he sees a cup of coffee. But he knows, he will always know. For he is "a freak of nature", the man who can't die.
