His rejection was like a stab in the heart. He simply refused to believe me, but believed a couple of Gryffindor third years instead. I don't care what he thinks, what he says, what he believes. I know the truth, and I will not rest until I see the day justice is served. Was attempted murder at the age of sixteen nothing in his old eyes? Is my life worth so little, in spite of everything I have given - my very life - to his cause?
I feel like I lost so much more than just an Order of Merlin tonight.
A/N: I always felt bad for him. :( He just didn't know any different.
