She wanted a hero,
No one came to her rescue
No one heard her bone chilling shriek
piercing through the broken luminescent air.
All they saw was emptiness
as it overtook her heart
and they couldn't stop her descent into madness.
it was like being reborn again
but instead of coming back an sparkling angel
she found herself doing splits with the devil.
The tears she shed through her skin-tight mask
they brought her nothing but cold hard pain.
So she fell to the blood splattered carpet
in sun-filled torment.
There was no hope,
no magic left in the world.
To ease her pain.
To take away the blackness.
