Title: Put On Ice

A/N: This is based off of a role-play between myself and a friend.
Jimmy said he'd change. After everything thats happened, that's what he told me. Of course, me being me and knowing his history I didn't believe him. I mean, come on, this was Jimmy we're talking about. Guy's either getting beat up or losing all of his money in gambling.
He got hurt. Me and Bobby took care of him. Him and the idiot that hurt him. But it was Jimmy that went out to eat with me and Bobby. Trust me, that was awkward all in itself. Going out and getting coffee with my boyfriend and my ex-husband. I felt like the third wheel. Like nothing was right. Then before we went into the little diner Jimmy went to the ATM. No big there. Well, wasn't a big deal until he came back and handed me $200. Said he was paying up what he owed people. That he really was changing. Talk about a suprise to me. But a good one.
Well, a day or so later the guy he usually gambled and lost money to, Sam, found out that Jimmy was going to quit gambling. Not good. The guy was really upset. So I went to leave work and low and behold I was kidnapped. More like held at gun point. The guy had a gun pointed to the base of my head. Told me to call Jimmy, so I did. Well, we got took to a warehouse where Sam told my ex-husband that he was going to re-enter the gambling circuit or he was going to kill me. Somewhere along those lines.
Jimmy told the guy that he'd do anything. Anything at all as long as I was let go. But Sam didn't agree. Instead he had one of his goons take me to a different room. Come to find out the room was an ice box. You know the kind with meat hooks hanging from the ceiling and such. There was meat on those hooks....wasn't animal. It was human. Yeah, the guy's a sick bastard. Anyway, after a few moments Jimmy got thrown in with me. I was already showing signs of hypothermia. So he did everything he could to keep me warm.
We were found. I don't know after how long, but Officer Sullivan and Officer Davis found us. I know when I was in the hospital I'd told Bobby that myself and Jimmy could've died in there. And he'd agreed. Said that my core temperature had been 29 degrees. He wouldn't tell me nor did I ask what Jimmy's core temperature had been....
Somehow I'm not so sure I wanted to know.... because he'd been worrying about keeping me alive. For Joey's sake. Said that we couldn't have Joey losing his mom. So, thats it. Jimmy's changed. For the better.
Hopefully...anyways.
