A child-like laugh left Harry's lips as he moulded the snow in his hands, cold seeping into his red and naked hands. His face was flushed and bright as he swung his mighty weapon over his shoulder and let go, ball leaving his grip and flying majestically through the air. His opponent dodged with ease that spoke of good reflexes and concentration. Feet imprinted in the ever growing snow that lay like a winter blanket upon the frozen earth. The sounds of sharp metal slicing strong ice met their ears, as the lake was skated upon, but the two were too focussed on each other to spare the sound another moment.
Harry felt a snowball whiz past his ear, and he ducked out of the way, eyes narrowing as he felt the sharp brush of cold against one of his softer muscles. Harry danced against the wind, feet twisting like Christmas lights as he skipped away from yet another snowfall attack. He felt for his wand in his pocket, lips pursing as he breathed short misty breaths that spoke of exertion. He looked around him, his opponent having disappeared from sight, a trill of excitement sweeping his spine as he spun around, eyes darting around the clearing.
"Gotcha"
He felt a heated breath on his neck as he was swept into warm arms, hair tickling his flushed cheek, green eyes sparkling when they caught the snowstorm of his friend. They were... just friends.
Draco felt a smile grace his face and pulled Harry closer. He had the excuse of a snowfight, it wasn't that he just wanted to hold the other boy.
