"Ultraman…are you okay?" M'gann ask in civilian clothes as he was finishing up some case he was working on
"Hmm?" Ultraman, who was in his uniform, forced himself out of his thoughts. "Oh, yeah. Just thinking."
"What are you working on?" M'gann questioned.
Ultraman shrugged. "A case about a friend of mine as well as updating my enemy's information."
"Oh…Do you need any help with that. I'm sure with the leagues help you can get this done faster.?" M'gann questioned realizing what his true intensions are.
"Sorry, but I like my way better no offence…" Ultraman sighed.
"If you change your mind you know where to find us.." M'gann encouraged.
"Yeah…" Ultraman paused. "You know…this is the most we've talked in a while. I thought you were avoiding me."
"I was…until Conner convinced me to come talk to you." M'gann explained.
"Huh…" Ultraman thought Connor.
He was with Superman at the moment. When the two young heroes return to the Ultracave after the night with the Light, Superboy was happy that Superman is talking to him and is calling him son.
Connor questioned why he was angry with Superman. Of course David denies it until Connor guilt trip him. He explained it and his cousin understand and maybe should talk to him about it.
But David says no, he's too angry at the moment and doesn't want to do something he regrets.
"He thinks of you as his best friend, you know." M'gann sighed. "I guess he doesn't want his best friend and girlfriend to be at odds like we are."
"Yeah…I guess we've been avoiding this…" Ultraman frowned. "Then I'll just say it…I'm sorry."
"You're sorry?" M'gann blinked in surprise. "What for?"
"I killed you in the simulation." Ultraman clenched his fists. "Even if Manhunter was influencing me…It's unforgivable. You're my friend, and I betrayed you."
"No!" M'gann hissed. "That's not your fault. It's mine. If I controlled my powers better, none of that would have happened. Because of me, you experienced so much loss. I saw you when everyone died…I saw how it broke you. I should be apologizing for putting you through that."
"You didn't mean for that to happen." Ultraman insisted. "I was the one that intentionally hurt you."
"That's just like you…" M'gann gave a sad chuckle. "Always trying to take so much blame. I'm not anywhere close to being angry at you, but if it makes you feel better, I forgive you. But! Only if you forgive me first."
"That's already done." Ultraman smiled.
"Good." M'gann smiled back. "Wanna hug it out?"
M'gann had her hands out ready for a hug.
"Yeah... I'm not much of a hugger." Ultraman told her, but she ignores him and hug him anyways.
They stayed like that for a few moments before they hear a cell phone ringing. They broke apart and M'gann takes her phone about, it was Connor calling her.
"Hey Connor, how's Metroplois?" M'gann ask. "...Alright be right there."
She hangs up and turn to Ultraman.
"That was Connor, he ask if I wanted to have a lunch date with him. Superman just went back to working and Connor has nothing better to do, so I'll see you later?" M'gann as.
"Yeah... If you need me I'll be here working on this." Ultraman gestured to his holocomputer.

After a few minutes alone the Zeta-Tubes went back on again

"Hey babe." Cassie greeted her boyfriend as she wrap her hand behind Ultraman's neck and kissed him on the cheek. "What's your working on?"
She was received with silence as he was continuing to type on the holocomputer not noticing his girlfriend behind him.
"Are you even listening to me?" Cassie ask. "Ultraman, I know you didn't lose your super hearing."
She then got a smirk on her face. "Find then, I guess I'll have to kiss Wally instead of my boyfriend."
This got Ultraman's attention and he turned to look at her.
"What did you say?" Ultraman ask.
"I said I'll be kissing Wally if you don't pay attention." Cassie says with hint of angry.
"Look I'm sorry." Ultraman apologized. "I was busy working on a case about a friend of mine. Do you need anything at the moment."
"Yeah, I came here to make out with you." Cassie says with a smirk, slowly walking up to him. "Unless your busy.
Ultraman smirk as well, seeing where this is going. "I can spend a few minutes off the computer."
They slowly walk together and began another make out sessions. Ultraman had his hands on his girlfriend waist, while Cassie had her arms over her boyfriends shoulders. For the next few minutes they stayed like that until Cassie b]push Ultraman onto the couch.
Before he can say anything she straddles him and began to kiss him once again, thus making out.
