Plagued with fear, fueled by nightmare and decay, it was the only thing the girl ran by. The only thing she believed in.

Now death was apart of her, and it was the only thing she could focus on ever since the passing of her dear twin sister, Abigail. Oh, the way the two used to pull even the most devilish pranks. But now her separate self was torn from time's domain and shielded between the war of light and dark. This left the poor young girl by herself, left to remain in the flickering light of her glowing dim campfire with teary eyes and a small, delicate crimson flower between her two hands.

Their moments together as sisters didn't last very long, and Wendy knew this. It was only until the discovery of a ritual of her sister's resurrection that brought her a more …sinister joy. The need of a blood sacrifice was the easy part; it was just the confrontation Wendy feared. How would her sister react to seeing her so bereaved? Would she be okay with it?

With Abigail's flower placed beside the rabbit Wendy had clung onto, in no hesitation did she snap its head off, using only but her tiny hands to do the job. Even its dying shriek was no distraction to the troubled girl. As foretold, her sibling had arrived on time with such a conspicuous expression. No matter how much Wendy had wanted to wrap her arms around her sister and tell her it'd be alright, she couldn't, and she was aware of that. The ghost, Abigail, would only whisper to her when close. Her words were too slurred for Wendy to hear.

"Abigail? Do you remember me?"

The ghost only stared back, but to Wendy it felt like a yes. It even made her smile, something she hadn't done since her sister's passing, to see her flower upon her pretty little head again.

"I missed you. Please, come dear sister, we have a lot of catching up to do.~"

And with that, the two girls were left alone to chatter among themselves as they both wandered along the brick road. Who ever knew reuniting with your lost twin could open up your soul to many more possibilities?

ALSO! I was dared to write a new fanfiction every week, so expect daily ones every now and then. Sorry if this upsets you in any way!
