A WAR TROPHY

"Nataku –"

"It's Naraku, Sesshoumaru-sama," the masked man bowed humbly.

"– or whatever your name is," Sesshoumaru continued, not paying much attention to Naraku's words. "What reasons do I have to trust you? You've already tried to deceive me – besides, I'm sure that this is not your true form, but an illusory one. Is there anything under that cloak of yours?"

"I'm not illusory," Naraku responded in a mysterious, alluring voice. "I'm naked."

Naked.

Sesshoumaru's golden eyes glinted in a very dangerous way.

…"You see, Nakuru – Naraku, I mean, there are so many elegant things one can make out of fur," Sesshoumaru said, stroking the white pelt lovingly. "Even if it's monkey fur, it still can serve as excellent outfit material," he added, rising on his feet and preparing to leave. "And you – well, I believe your gorgeous hair is long and thick enough to keep you warm for a while. Remember, you will be rewarded by the Lord of the Western Lands for being so generous." He paused. "Someday."

Naraku politely declined to comment.

FROM THE ABYSS

"…and Kikyou's true purpose is to cast you into Hell," she concludes. "No surprise here, really, but we should be cautious, Naraku."

"We should," he murmurs. "And we will. The noble miko is not the one to be underestimated." All of a sudden, a smile forms on his lips. "But Kagura, don't you find it… ironic, in a sense?"

His remark causes her to frown in bewilderment and disbelief. Ironic? In what way? Mildly amused by her reaction, he chuckles quietly.

Just for a moment, she sees the bloody abyss in his eyes.

"Don't you know, Kagura? I am Hell."

OBEDIENCE

Master Naraku. Isn't that arrogant?

Her wind blades rip his clothes apart and the kimono falls on the floor, but his skin remains untouched. She can't explain it, not even to herself, but every time she tries to show her anger, she fails to hurt him. She can't bring herself to pierce his chest when he smirks and says "Aren't you impatient, Kagura?" in his usual calm, mocking voice.

She can't push him away when his fingers reach her neck and then move lower and lower.

"Master… Naraku…"

In the end, she calls him the way he wants her to.

WORDS OF LOVE

"Call me when you need me," Kikyou whispered and headed towards the exit. Naraku's dark castle was not the most beautiful place in the world.

"I see," Naraku cackled. "But what if… what if I say that I need you now?"

…What exactly possessed her to mutter 'yes' and embrace him? She glanced at the sleeping demon's face and grinned. It was probably a grave mistake, but Kikyou wasn't entirely disappointed with herself. Even a night with Naraku was an accomplishment – being a talented strategist, she managed to get hold of his expensive blue eyeshadow and leave a dozen of highly questionable messages on his bare chest.
