Writing my first Kuroko no Basket fic. im writing this from my tablet, because my laptop broke, so I apologize for the errors it will contain. Well, enjoy!

My name is Kuroko.

I am a shadow. I can only survive with light. The brighter the light, the stronger the shadow. My current light is Kamagi, but his skills are growing fast. Soon, he won't need me. Soon, I will be a lonely shadow. A shadow without a light. In other words, I'm useless. I don't exist. No one needs me. I don't need to live anymore.

It started with small cuts. Not deep enough to create much damage, but enough to hurt. Of course, no ine noticed the small cuts. I took this as a sign that no one cared.

The cuts got deeper and bigger. They multiplied. No one noticed. Only Number Two knew, or noticed, because he was with me when I cut .

I stopped eating. I never ate a lot anyway, so again, no one noticed.

I stopped sleeping, staying up all night, looking at my arms. They were covered in scars and cuts. No one noticed, no one ever did.

I stopped talking.

I stopped caring.

I soon, stopped breathing.

Basketball practice was the same as usual. We did warm ups, then practice games against our seniors. I was running low on fumes, from the no sleeping, no eating, all the running, and my blood loss. I kept pushing forwards though, knowing that it would soon be over. No one ever notices when a shadow disappears, because it is replaced by a new one.

I started getting dizzy. It was hard to think. I kept on running, waiting for a pass.

That's when I hit the ground.

I don't know how is happened. One minute, I was running, the next, I was on the ground. Everything after that was a blur. I heard my team mates shouting my name. I tried to open my eyes, but they were to heavy. Everything felt heavy.

"Kuroko!"
"Kurkoko, wake up!"
"Coach, what should we do!?"
"Call an ambulance. We need to take him-"
"Look at his wrists!"
"They're covered in-"

My breath was coming in short gasps. I couldn't hold on anymore. I took one last breath, and-

"KUROKO!"

My name is Kuroko.

I was once a shawdow, but now, I am a light. I will guide your way during the day, and I night, I will shine like a star.

I will never be forgotten.
