"Chazz! Get your ass over here!"
I turned to see Nikki walking towards me, a firey anger blazing in her black eyes. "What?" I asked, gazing at her with what I hoped was a bored look on my face. Her brown hair was all over the place, a sign that she was frustrated, but even a mess, it looked quite sexy on her. I debated telling her, but I wasn't too keen on loss of limb.
"Where is my card?" she whispered in an icy tone, shooting daggers with her eyes. Damn, could she get any hotter?
I sighed. "What card?" I asked tonelessly, which seemed to be pissing her off. I could tell the was trying to hide it, but her gorgeous eyes gave it away
"Oh my god. The only card that I care about!" She threw her hands in the air in frustration, attempting to make a point. I snorted at the look of utter disbelief that was being shot at me.
"Which is…?" God, I loved getting her angry.
She closed her eyes and took a deep breath. "You," she said in a much calmer tone, "are a fucking idiot."
I suddenly clenched my chest and closed my eyes as if I was in pain. "Ow!" I cried. "My ego!"
"That won't be the only thing in pain when I'm done with you."
I chuckled under my breath and walked closer to her. "Oh really?" I whispered in her ear, causing her to shudder. "And, how do you plan to accomplish that?" I gently grabbed her chin and pushed it up, forcing her to look into my eyes. She bit her lip, the smallest blush appearing on her face as she smiled weakly. Of course, I smirked at her. And, of course, I immediately regretted it.
"Shit!" I exclaimed, as she kneed me in the only place that could possibly cause me pain. "So that's how…" Nikki giggled and kneeled on the ground, giving me a quick kiss.
"To injure a dick, you've got to injure his dick." She said cheerfully as she stood up and turned to walk away. I propped myself up with my elbows to get a better look at her retreat.
"God, I love you," I mumbled, a grin on my face. She continued to walk, but turned her head so she could look at me as she gave me a thumbs up
