Chapter 1: The Idea

"I don't care about your scores, Ron," Hermione said through gritted teeth.

"Then why are you always telling me to be more responsible for my work and constantly on my back about getting it done sooner?" Ron yelled.

"Because the N.E.W.T.'s are three months away!" Hermione yelled right back. "You have to pass them to graduate!"

"Then just let me worry about my own scores and you worry about yours! You don't yell at Harry like this and he does the same thing I do! Go yell at him for a change!" Ron screamed and stomped up to the boys' dorm. Hermione just rolled her eyes at Ron, gathered her books, and ran up the girls' dorm.

Harry and Ginny, having just witnessed this argument, rolled their eyes at the pair.

"We really have to get them together," Ginny said. "I can't believe they could both be so blind."

"I know. But how would we get them together? We wouldn't be able to tell either of them what we were up to," said Harry.

Ginny saw a sign on the notice board announcing that the next Hogsmeade trip would be this weekend. "Of coarse not, but I have an idea," she said, pointing to the sign. Harry followed her gaze and knew exactly what she was thinking. They looked at each other and both had grins that Fred and George would be proud of.
