The bright morning rays of sunshine shot into her room. Shizuku wiped the sleep from her eyes and glanced over towards the window where her blinds opened a little. Snow fell at a steady pace outside. She sat up in her bed and walked over to it, pushing the blinds out of the way. She stared out the windowed of her room. She opened the window and stuck out her hand to catch some of the snow. She had a small smile on her face as she felt the snowflake melt in her palm. She brought her arm back in and closed the window. Right when she was going to put her hair up, she got a call on her cellphone. She sighed and answered it, "Hello?" Right after saying the greeting she heard, "SHIZUKU! IT'S SNOWING!" She moved the phone from her ear about two inches after hearing Haru's loud voice. "Yes, I know Haru." She heard him give a relaxed laugh like he always did when he was happy.
"I'm gonna come get you, I have something fun planned!" After hearing that Shizuku tensed. "No Haru, I have to study." Haru let out an annoyed sigh. "But there's no school today!" She rolled her eyes. "Perfect time to study, bye." With that she hung up and took a seat at her desk.
After about thirty minutes there was a knock at her door. "There's someone here to see you." She turned at her dad's words only to see Haru standing there dressed in a large coat and had a pale blue scarf which hid his mouth. He tugged the cloth down to only reveal a bright smile. "I told you I was coming to get you! And you're not even ready!" Shizuku closed her notebook and stared at Haru for a moment. "Alright I'll come outside for a bit if you let me study in peace after. He thought for a second and then nodded. "Deal! Now hurry up!" he closed the door. Shizuku sighed and changed from her pajamas to jeans and a thick grey sweater. After puting her hair up she opened her door.
"Alright let's go." She followed Haru to her front door. On her way out she slipped on her large winter jacket. "Come on!" After closing the door Haru grabbed her hand and pulled her along.
