William Shakespeare's "Romeo and Juliet"

In the streets of Verona breaks out a feud,

Between a Capulet and a Montague,

The citizens try to beat back the warring factions,

So Prince Escalus must bring an end to the violence,

By declaring the next to break the peace,

Will then be forced to become deceased.

Soon a man named Benvolio,

Finds his cousin Romeo,

Who speaks of his love Rosaline,

That does not return his feelings.

Meanwhile Paris seeks Juliet's hand,

In marriage, but Capulet makes him understand,

Not yet fourteen years Juliet is,

But come of age, Juliet will be his,

So Capulet puts together a masquerade,

Sending a servant with a list that he gave,

Of guests to invite, which Romeo sees,

And plans to attend for there Rosaline will be,

The feast begins and it was love at first sight,

Between Romeo and Juliet whose love was not right,

For they found out soon that they were enemies,

For a feud exists within the two families,

But nonetheless, they planned to marry,

By Friar Lawrence who agrees for reasons plenty,

Believing this will end the feud,

He ends up marrying the beloved two.

But soon after they sleep in her bed,

She is told to marry Paris instead,

Thus Friar Lawrence gives her a potion,

Whose purpose is to give a death notion,

But the marriage is moved a day ahead,

And the message to Romeo is one he never gets,

He then goes to Juliet's tomb where he meets,

Paris, whom he kills, who falls at his feet,

Romeo goes inside and takes out his vial,

Filled with poison to take what is vital,

But Juliet wakes up far too late,

And finds what has happened to her beloved's fate,

Juliet feels she cannot continue her life,

So she stabs herself with Romeo's knife.

Capulet and Montague see their children's bodies,

And decide to live in peace and harmony,

They ended the long time family feud,

And raise their children of golden statues.
