It had been a few weeks since rory and logan had broken up and rory was packing her last few things for the campaign trail. Lorelai was watching her daughter zip the last bag shut when rory jumped up from her position on the couch and rush into the bathroom. Rory kneeled in front of the toilet and proceed to throw up form the 5th time that morning. Rory was leaning against the wall when it finally hit her. She rushed out of the bathroom and looked at the calendar on the fridge it was the 25th she was a week late. "Mom" rory yelled up the stairs " yes" sweetheart "what is it " lorelai said as she stepped down into the living room . " i'm late" rory told her " late for what" her mother asked her no mom "I'm late" rory said again stressing the words. "Oh"lorelai said finally realizing what rory had been trying to tell her. After lorelai asking rory how late she was they both got onto lorelai's jeep and went to a pharmacy in Hartford and returned with 15 different pregnancy tests. "I'm going to go take them now rory told her mom when they entered the house and she went straight to the bathroom. 45 minutes and a gallon of orange juice later rory went to check the results. " mom" she called from the bathroom a second later " I'm pregnant.
