Set inbetween episodes 4x11 and 4x12 its about Gwen living in ealdor.
Gwen entered her small brown hut she sat down on a small brown chair, its legs that look like they will soon snap off. She pulled out a small stone from underneath her red cloak, she held it tightly to her chest like it was the most precious possession in the world. She felt so ashamed that everyone would soon think of her as the girl that betrayed Arthur a small girl that never knew her own trust. Maybe she was right maybe she was never meant for Arthur. She looked around the hut and saw a small shadow coming from the gap between her closet doors she walked up to the old wooden door and gripped hold of the handle she felt someone or something breathe on clutched it and thrust it open "aha got you" she shouted at the same time a young boy slowly made his way out of the closet but in fact that young boy was "Merlin".
"Surprise" Merlin said in an unsure voice. Gwen's jaw dropped in such surprise,
"Well that is an unusual entrance "she replied. Merlin stepped backwards and closed the doors to Gwen's unattended closet.
"Well you've got more helpful since I've last seen you"
Gwen said with a very jolly smile on her face. Merlin and Gwen broke out into a giggle which soon turned into a laugh
"so" said Merlin" let's get to business",
"Yes why are you here"?, Replied Gwen with a concerned look on her face.
"I've come to see if you're okay "Merlin replied in a kindly way.
"Better than I was "Gwen tried to sound confident but her voice faded
"You and your mum have been so kind, thank you" She then continued
"how do I repay you".
"Repay" Merlin said in a confused voice
"oh repay well five blocks of gold by midnight they all have to be a 10 centre meters long"
he then added with a smirk. "Gold um okay and where do I find that" Gwen answered rather confused.
"You will figure it you're a smart girl"
Merlin said while just trying to confuse her. Gwen looked at Merlin afraid that he was being serious; Merlin looked up and stared at Gwen's eyes. " I was joking you can repay with nothing in fact I think my mum appreciates your company"
Merlin whispered slowly. Gwen gasped in delight "Merlin" she moaned "you frightened me".
"And you believed me"
Merlin replied. Gwen smiled at Merlin, and Merlin moved out of the room "oh and i wasn't joking"
he added and chuckled to himself and left the room for good. Gwen sat back down on the old chair and smiled to herself " the boy" she whispered to herself and laughed.
