Summary: Sakura was truly, undoubtedly, most defiantly, dead

Summary: Sakura was truly, undoubtedly, most defiantly, dead. That didn't stop her for falling in love with someone truly, undoubtedly, most defiantly, alive—and it seems he would stay so for quite a while longer. SasoSaku Oneshot.

The pink-haired girl walked around her dream man. She knew it was wrong, she knew it couldn't be, and she knew it was first degree stalking, but it didn't matter at the moment. All that she cared about was the fact she was with him, and nothing could set them apart.

She didn't know him—she didn't even know her name, but she felt something for him. He was the first thing she saw after her death, and she knew it was as meant to be as it could get.

"Sasori…" she would whisper to the wind. His name. Her love's name. It was sad, she would think, that her love didn't even know her name. His love's name. His first degree stalker's name.

"Sasori…" she whispered once more, wrapping her arms around the cloaked man, locked up in his room, creating and fixing one of his puppets. She wished with all her might, he would hear her, he would acknowledge her, he would love her.

Much to her surprise, he slowly put a hand up to his shoulder and put down his tools, and he grasped his shoulder—her hand… Feeling tears well up in her eyes, either from happiness that he felt her, or sadness that he couldn't really see or feel her, she didn't know. But what he did next made her sob with tears of sorrow and happiness…

"Sakura…"

He knew it. Her name. His love's name. His first degree stalker's name. He knew her name.

Sakura knelt down on the floor, Sakura cried her eyes out, Sakura wished for more than anything to be with the one she loved. Had she known him in the past, when she was alive?

She froze and stood up, wiping the tears that fell from her green eyes. She would be strong for him. She would be strong for the one that couldn't see her, couldn't hear her, and couldn't feel her…

But she liked to imagine he could, and with dry eyes, Sakura wrapped her arms around him once more, and this time, Sasori did nothing but lean back in his seat and put an arm over his eyes.

If she didn't know better, she'd think he was crying, but her Sasori was strong… even if he were crying, for what reason would he have to cry?

"Don't cry Sasori… I love you…" she whispered anyways, putting her lips against his neck, giving him a soft butterfly kiss. That's when she heard it. A sob.

Pulling her head back immediately, she looked over to Sasori. His cloaked arm still covered his eyes, but she could see it, a single salty tear, falling from his eye…

"Sakura… I miss you…"

I had a lot of fun writing this! I think it's cute and sad at the same time… and yes, they knew each other in the past in my story, and they loved each other. That was a while ago, and Sakura recently ended up near him. She'd been dead for a while and just became a ghost… so, hope you liked it!
