As i lie in bed, i think of sam, i wish only that he was next to me. Sleeping peacfully, his angel face so very close to mine. His beautiful head, and magnificent curly blonde hair, gracing my pillows, i can only wish.

Now that everything with the ring had ended and the shire was beautiful again, i had thought that our relationship would be able to be free and open. Sam's heart was stolen from my grasps when he drank too much ale at Rosie's pub, and ended up taking her home.

this is the seventh night in a row i have cried myself to sleep. like a child, i thought i was everything he wanted, i thought i was everything his hobbit heart might need, why did he do those wretched things to me? now he has married her, with a child on the way.
