I was inspired to write this after Sarah posted her #donnasview Instagram photo.

As of now a one-shot, future chapters depending on reviews... Enjoy.

Her body was buzzing. Her senses were overwhelmed by him.

'I'm sorry Harvey, I just had to know.'

She hadn't thought the kiss through, she wasn't planning on it, but when she saw him all sense of morality went out the window.

One second Louis was talking about losing his soulmate, the next she's kissing Harvey.

She kissed him. Her actions were finally settling in.

Did she regret it? No. Does she regret putting him in that position? Of course.

She's snapped out of her thoughts as the doors of the elevator reveal the cool New York City breeze. Auto-pilot kicked in the second she walked out of her office, but somehow she's made it to the rooftop.

All her thoughts were flooded with moments from the past months that have led her to this. To finally allowing herself to be selfish for once, it felt damn good and terrifying all at once.

"Goddamnit Donna you just had to kiss him." She says feeling defeated by her own emotions.

"Why?" Havey says, catching her completely off guard.

They shouldn't have this conversation now. But here they are.

"Harvey, please not now."

"When then?"

"Why did you do it Donna? Put me in this position?" His voice filled with anger, she instantly misses his softness.

"You really want to know Harvey?"

"Yeah, the hell I do. It's the least you could do after running away."

"The least?" She scoffs.

"Harvey I have put you over myself for twelve years. Haven't ever considered my needs, my wants. That's why I did it."

"You want me?"

"I said I got what I wanted when I said I wanted more, but... I lied."

"Donna I'm with Paula."

"You think I don't know that? God. I'm well aware."

"What's that supposed to mean."

"It means that we had a run in and she couldn't wait one second before making it seem like she knew you better than I do. Do you know how hurtful that was?"

"Donna I- "

"You didn't know, yes I know, but it was still humiliating."

"What do we do now?"

She can't even face him. Refusing to break down in front of him once again.

"Hey. Look at me." Harvey says as he steps in front of her, gently lifting her chin.

Her heart is pounding. Even after kissing him, her body is still overwhelmed by his touch.

"We can figure this out, just becau- "

"Don't say it doesn't mean anything, it does. You can't lie to yourself this time Havey. I felt it. You kissed me back. It's not all in my head"

"God woman will you ever let me finish?" He says as he tilts his head in the usual manner.

"What I was going to say was... Just because Paula and I being together isn't a good enough reason to not talk this out, finally figure our feelings out."

He can't help but stare at her lips as he says his last word. He wants nothing more than to kiss her right then and there.

As he leans in they get close enough to feel each other's breaths.

She's then instantly brought back to reality and rests her forehead on his.

"We can't."

"I know."

"Go talk to Paula. Please. Go see her."

And just like that he walks away. Missing his warmth instantly, she is once again aware of how cold the breeze is as tears begin to fall down her face.
