I smiled and looked up at the shining stars. They were indeed incredible. They were totally breathtaking.
"They are beautiful indeed".
I quickly turned around, facing my dad. I totally forgot he could read minds.
"How could you forget, Ness?", he asked.
I smiled and pointed at the stars.
"They are breathtaking, and distracted me", I answered.
He then chuckled and said, "They are very nice. But you have to be careful out here all alone Ness", he said.
I then rolled my eyes and asked, "What are you doing out here?"
He smiled and answered, "Just came to make sure your safe".
I then giggled and said, "Don't worry Daddy. I'm perfectly fine."
"Okay baby girl", he said and kissed me on the forehead.
He was a great dad, and I knew how much my mom loved him. I giggled at that thought and he turned around to me.
"Ness! Keep the thoughts to yourself! Please?", he whined.
I bursted out laughing. It was weird being a vampire, but I loved being a freak.
"We're not freaks".
I looked at my dad to see him frowning. I giggled once more at his little pout face.
"Daddy, accept it. We are!", I said proudly.
He then rolled his eyes at me and smiled.
"Your the brightest star in the sky, Ness. Your the best daughter God could've gave me. Your sweetier then the sweetest candy in the world", he explained.
I smiled and said, "Thanks Daddy. Your the best Dad, God could've gave me".
He then smiled back and kissed me once more on the forehead before pulling me into a tight hug.
"Can't... Breathe...", I choked out.
He then let me go out of his tight, sweet embrace and apoligized.
"I never said to stop!", I told him.
He then chuckled and pulled me into his hug once more. We stayed like that for a little bit, which seemed like hours to me. But I didn't mind, because I loved my Dad.
He was the best Dad, God could've gave me.
This was just the beginning of the forever I lived. I might of been, 'damned'.
But in my world, it was more like being, 'lucky'.
