After effortlessly getting away from the battle that they were gradually losing, Seda led his men into a forest so they could regroup. After a quick meal was eaten, Seda led his horse to a nearby stream as a healer came up to him.

"Can I take care of that wound, My Lord?" She asked.

"Yes, you can." He said as he opened his saddlebags to pull out some cloth.

Handing her the cloth, she cleaned the wound and wrapped his forehead with it, hearing him groan in pain as he looked at her. "Is there any way we can win?" He asked.

"I'm afraid not, Your Majesty." She said, bowing her head.

"Damn!" Seda cursed as he pulled out his sword and drove it into the tree in front of him, startling his stallion. He stayed that way until sleep overtook him.

When Seda opened his eyes, he soon found a man cloaked in a black robe making his way to him, his face settling within a black hood.

"I can give you the power you need to win this battle, but I need your blood." He said in a raspy voice.

Having no other option, Seda extended his arm out as the stranger pulled a dagger out of nowhere, and sliced their arms open, letting his blood mix with Seda's blood. Seda soon passed out after he wrapped his wound, hearing the stranger laugh over him.
