A/N: I got this idea from a song I listened to on the radio. I think it's pretty obvious who this is about :)

Disclaimer: I own nothing.

Empty, their home is empty. What does empty mean? She cannot remember anymore what the word "empty" means.

How long? How long has it been since they left? Alone. She is alone. But she cannot remember what "alone" means too. She was never alone.

Empty. Alone. Lonely. Cold. Dark. Death...

She runs her hands along the walls, walking aimlessly along eerily silent halls. So cold...

She eventually finds an inhabited room, but these inhabitants are white, stone-hard and cold, so cold.

She runs her hands along their sharp features, so familiar and yet so distant, until the tips of her fingers go numb.

Her chest aches, but she does not heed it. It is empty. And emptiness cannot ache.

She lies at the feet of a half-finished statue. Is a house a home when your loved ones are gone?
