I Watched
I watched her laugh to hide the pain . I watched as she said she would find somebody , but never tried for fear that he would come back and think that she did not love him . I watched as she lied to make us all happy . I watched as her heart died a little more each night . I watched as my best friend slowly kill herself from the inside out .
One day I awoke durring the middle of the night . My heart was raceing and I could just tell that something was wrong . I knew that it was not Hinata because she was laying right beside me with her hand laying on her swollen stomach . My mind drifted to Sakura . I never really thought she would try and hurt herself , but I got out of bed anyway .
I found her on her bathroom floor . There was an empty bottle of pills beside her head . I watched as she slipped away into the void . I was to late . I watched and listined as she told me that all would be okay . I watched my best friend die in my arms because our other childhood friend would not come back .
Three days later I watched as the white cherry wood coffin was lowered into the ground . I watched as all of our friends cryed over the lose of our cherry blossom . I watched as the village said their final good-byes to the cherry blossom of Konoha . I watched and wished it were all just a dream .
Three years later I watched as Sasuke walked through the village gates . I watched as he asked about Sakura . I watched his face as Kakashi sensei and I lead he away to my home . I watched as his eyes flooded with tears and feel down his face like a waterfall . I watched as he let all the tears lose .
I watched as he walked around the village wearing a mask that fooled everyone . I watched him hide the pain of knowing that he was the reson that Sakura was dead . I watched as he slowly his heart break more and more as each day passed . I watched him die from the inside out .
Again I awoke during the middle of the night . I knew that it was not because of my family because my son lay wrapped in his mothers arms. My heart raced and I thought about Sasuke .
I found him laying at the head stone of his one and only cherry blossom . I watched as his breathing became shallower and slower . I watched as he slipped into the same void that I had watched Sakura drift into . I watched as he lay dieing because he wanted to be with her , his one and only .
Three days later , I watched as a black cherry wood coffin was lowered into the ground next to his one and only cherry blossom , Sakura Haruno . I watched as silent tears fell from the eyes of the village . Their were happy because they were back together . I watched as everone left saying how they could finally rest in peace together .
I turned away , but something made me turn back for one last look . I watched as Sakura and Sasuke walked hand-in-hand towards the setting sun . I watched them cross over and spend the rest of forever together . I watched as they finally got their happy ending . I watched as they faded away and felt myself , smile for the two , they were finally together after some many years .
