Bramblestar peeked his head out through the bracken,
"Are they still there?" Vinepaw asked, fearfully.
"Yes, and hush!" Bramblestar hissed.
There had been huge cats around, the size of a fox. They had great hearing and were experienced hunters and fighters.
"Yeah! That's right! Run, run for your puny lives!" one of the cats howled at a fleeing dog.
"WOW! They scared of a dog!" Featherpaw said loudly.
The huge cat stared Featherpaw's direction, its fur was bristled, and the cat's tail puffed out like a hedgehog. Featherpaw giggled, the big cat hissed. A dark brown cat stalked up to them and grabbed Featherpaw by the scruff and took her out to the others.
"I found our prey!" the cat joked,
"Great job Falconclaw!" another cat said,
"This puny lynx… no, cat, will be a prisoner along with the others."
"Ya hear that little cat! You are trespassing on our land and you will pay for what you have done!" Falconclaw scowled.
Featherpaw shivered with fear.
"H- Help!" she screeched.
Bramblestar jumped out hissing and back arched, the Tigercloud and Vinepaw bounded out and copied Bramblestar.
Falconclaw, a light brown queen with amber eyes stared at them in amusement,
"Nightstar! Look at these little kitties, they came out to play!" Falconclaw mewed at a muscular, black huge tom, like Falconclaw. Amusement shined in his green eyes,
StarClan help us! Bramblestar thought,
"We will let you run away and get out of our territory." Nightstar nodded to Bramblestar,
"But we get the rest of your cats." Falconclaw added,
Bramblestar looked at Vinepaw, then to Tigercloud, and then to Featherpaw,
"It must be done," Tigercloud meowed calmly, Featherpaw and Vinepaw nodded,
"You have to look after the rest of the Clan," Vinepaw mewed, fear lit up in his eyes, "It's for the best of the Clan,"
"I will come back for you!" Bramblestar said, then he turned tail, and ran.
