WALLY POV

"Here you go! I'm sure whoever this is for will love it!" The saleswoman said.

"I hope he will too." I fingered the little box in my hand nervously. Although I was here to buy a piece of jewelry, it wasn't a ring. To be honest, Dick and I haven't even thought about getting married yet. The necklace I had gotten him was for the banquet tonight, because we were finally going to reveal our relationship. The necklace was a silver chain with a little red lightning bolt in the center. Kid flash. I hoped he'd like it.

I was at Dicks house getting ready for the dinner. Dick was wearing a black suit with a blue tie that matched his eyes, and I was wearing a Black suit as well, only with a red tie. I had the box in my pocket, and I was getting ready to show it to him.

"Dick?"

"Yes, Wally?"

"I... I got you something."

"What is it Wall-man?" He asked, a smirk lighting up his features.

"Well, this." I opened the box and showed him the necklace. He gasped, then reached into his pocket. He brought out a box very similar to mine and when he opened it, there was a golden chain with a yellow R in the center. Robin.

"Do you like it?" We asked at the same time. Spontaneously, we hugged and then put on the others necklace.

LATERER/AT THE BANQUET DINNER THING

"Ok, so everyone, I have an announcement." Dick stood onstage, smiling right at me. "There has been some speculation around my dating life, and I would like to tell you all that I am currently involved with someone."

Everyone gasped, and a reporter asked, "Do we know her?" Typical. Assume its a girl.

"Well, you see, it's not a girl. It's a guy, and yes you all know him. His name is Wally West, and he's my best friend, and my boyfriend." Everyone turned to me, then they started clapping. I motioned for Dick to come join me, and he did.

"You know why I got you that necklace?" I asked him. "So I could show everyone that you're mine."

A/N: Terrible first try, I know! But it just popped into my head while I was in a jewelry store and I HAD to write it! BIRDFLASH FOR THE WIN!
