The In-laws

Regina leans back into Emma's strong arms. It was winter and Regina was about to experience something unpleasant.

Meeting the in-laws.

Of course it doesn't help that she had tried to kill them…more than once.

Emma gently stroked Regina's hand. "It'll be fine. They won't hate you…though they may be a little shocked."

Regina turned to look at her delusional lover. "Emma I'm not precisely on good terms with you parents and that's…putting it kindly."

Emma's brow creases in worry. "I know but we have to try something. Your in my life Regina and your not someone that I want to hide. I love you and I'm proud of that."

Regina sighed. "This isn't a question of love darling, but one of practicality. Your parents hate me…once they find out I desercrated their daughter…well they'll be less than pleased."

Emma laughed. "I'm far from innocent, Mary-Margaret knows that."

Regina raised an eyebrow. "She's accepted that her daughter isn't the pure virgin one is meant to be." She chuckled. "Perhaps there is hope yet for your mother. I may have…read too much into it…though still I doubt she'll be pleased."

Emma shrugged. "There is only one way to find out."

When they opened the door, Snow's eyes widened in disbelief.

"Emma," she whispered harshly, her eyebrows raised, with eyes glisening in shock. "Is that your…suitor?"

Regina smirked. "Yes I most certainly am."
