Okay this is a story based on what if Ryoko didn't return in Tenchi in Toyko. And now everyone misses her dearly. Well Tenchi decides to take this in his own hands but will he find her? does she want to come back? T/R or R/H. you'll see. R/R

Notes: This is an A/U story. take's place during Tenchi in Tokyo.

Prologue.

Where are you

Tenchi, Ayeka and everybody else all gathered around. Tenchi had just beat Yugi, everyone was happy to be together again.... well not everyone Ryoko was nowhere in site. *come to think of it, she didn't show up at the battle ether* With this thought in mind Tenchi decided to ask about it.

" uh.. Washu where is Ryoko"

Ayeka looked at Tenchi, trying to hold her anger. "she left about two weeks ago and never returned" *why do you care*

Tenchi look at Ayeka with sadness. "What?!... why?"

"I don't know" Tenchi looked down in confusion. *why would she leave and not return* Tenchi felt a hand on his shoulder and looked up to see Sasami's reassuring smile. "don't worry Tenchi, she'll be back" Tenchi smiled back. "Yeah" *she'll be back*

Two Months later.

Tenchi woke up to the sun shining on his face, he look out to see it was a happy day. *I wish I could feel the same... but maybe* with that in Tenchi rushed down stairs hoping and wishing, but his hopes shattered when he saw everyone at the table *but no Ryoko* . His happy mood faded and he started to walked out the door. "Good morning Lord Tenchi" Ayeka tried greeting but got no reply. She looked down in sadness, he had not been the ever since SHE left *but what does that space pirate have that I don't, I mean all she does is cause trouble* but Ayeka knew she didn't mean any of that, she too miss that pirate dearly.

Tenchi walked among the cheery blossoms *her favorite flower, I bet she didn't know I knew that* Tenchi knew a lot of things about Ryoko. He looked on at the flowers and remembered how her face use to light up every time she saw them, his glaze turned into a sad one as he thought about her, he missed her. Tenchi looked up at the sky *Ryoko...... where have you gone* he stood there for an moment and his glaze changed again, not to a sadden one, but to a look of determination and he turned around and started back to the house with a new goal in mind. "Well if your not going to come back, I'm going to have to drag you back".

So how was it? should I keep writing it? well if I do let me tell you this: Hotsuma has not betrayed Ryoko, so he's still in the picture.
