Prologue
As I walk down the long stretch of highway I began to think about my past, or the lack of one. As long as I can remember I've been by myself for the biggest part of my life. But these weird memories have been popping in my head. Oh yeah, you might want to know my name. It's Ride, Sam Ride and I have wings. Ok I know some of you might be flipping out, but it's completely normal for me. I guess I should start from the beginning.
Chapter 1
I remember waking up somewhere in Colorado, in the woods. It was dark and wet, so I looked around and started to walk. I was trying to remember my name but nothing came to mind. I walked into a store parking lot. A cop saw me and walked over.
"What's your name son?"
I looked at him and said "I don't know. But the name Ride keeps propping up in my head."
He looked at me weird and told me "Wait here and let me check something." Then he walked to his car and picked up his walkie-talkie and said something into it, he came back and told me "Come with me and I'll take you to someone that can help you."
Out of nowhere a black jeep pulls up, A guy comes out of the passenger side. He looked at me and I got the creeps. "I'm Ari. I'm here to take you away."
The cop asks me "Do you know this man?"
"No sir." The cop went to draw his gun and Ari morphs into a wolf/human thing and roars at the cop. The cop passes out and Ari grabs me and throws me into the jeep.
When he jumped in we started to move. I looked around and I see a six year old girl next to me. "Hi my name is Angel, and you're Sam Ride right?" "I don't know who I am but I guess that's my name." Ari looked backed and said "Shut up! Then he punched me and knocked me out.
