Chapter 1
As I pass by his classroom I quickly glance on the window, he noticed that I was looking. I blushed and glance away, as I walk pass by other classroom I noticed that people is looking at me. I ran to the nearest bathroom and see myself in the mirror; I forgot to button the first 3 buttons in my blouse. I realized that thinking of him makes me forget it; I quickly buttoned it up and go to the hallway where other girls kept on giggling. I saw Sumire walking towards me and said "So, you think leaving your buttons open will make Natsume Hyuga notice you" I looked at her "Do you think I'll do that?" Sumire raised her eyebrow "It's obviously, yes" I sighed "I am not like you who put heavy make-ups and go to clubs just to flirt with boys!" As I observed her, she was shock. I quietly moved on and directly to my next class, literature.
I forgot to introduce myself, I am Mikan Sakura. 15 years of living in this cruel world, in my elementary years I was awarded best in computer so that's when they started to call me "Geek" I didn't mind. Maybe God is so cruel and made me this way, not like my other classmate. They have long hair sparkly eyes and mostly talented, I am not good in sports my P.E. grade was 80% well, my mother did not care because after all she said "The brain is most important" but I always thought that's just an excuse for me to be happy. I wear glasses and a ponytail, so i really look like a nerd/geek.
"Ms. Sakura?" Ruka kicked my chair and whispered "Mikan, Naru is calling you" I was looking at my blank paper and finally said "Yes?" Naru looked at me with a confused look "Are you okay? Do you want me to send you to the clinic?" i replied with a sharp voice "No, sir." He sighed with a relief "Well then, let's continue" Hours passed, the bell rang. I was patiently waiting for Hotaru, but Anna said that she was absent. I ate lunch all alone by myself; my friends have some meeting to attend. While wondering lost in my own world I quickly glanced to the squealing girls, here comes Natsume. He was talking to some boys; he sat on their usual spot. Since I finished my lunch i went outside and sat under the tree. As I close my eyes I went to my own world but minutes after I heard some footsteps coming near.
A deep voice said "What are you doing here?" I was shocked and turn back "Excuse me bu-" It was Natsume! I stand up and said "I am sorry" I walk off but he yelled "its okay, i don't mind" Natsume doesn't mind? "It will be bad" His expresion was priceless "Bad? Why would it be bad?" He chuckled "If one of your fans saw you talking to a 'Geek', it will be bad for your reputation!" His smile disappeared "I don't care about reputation" My eyes grew; I always thought this boy is someone who cares about that. I was wrong all along, Even though I admire him and a little crush "Oh" He looked at the ground "You can sit down now" As I sit down on opposite direction "I-" I was cut off "You know, if you remove your glasses and let go of your hair. You'll look pretty" After that I looked at him but he was gone.
