Kakashi flinched as the door to his and his lover's apartment squeaked open. Damn, he thought, the one time it squeaks and I'm trying to be quiet!! He cursed gently before slipping off his sandals and throwing off his gloves. As he walked to the kitchen to grab a drink for his parched throat, he shed his vest and hitai-ate. After that he snuck silently down the dark hall towards his and his beloved's bedroom. As soon as he entered he was filled with joy to see the sleeping form on the bed.
"Kashi, that you?" a drowsy voice inquired as he slipped off his pants,shirt and mask before sliding into bed next to his lover, who immediently snuggled tightly against him. "Yeah, Ruka, it's me. I'm home, sweet-heart." He smiled as his koi leaned in for a sweet kiss, which turned passionate slowly. He chuckled, a deep rich sound, as he felt his little dolphin getting rather desperate. "Ruru, I'm sorry but not tonight. I'm really tired, all I wanna do is cuddle for a little while and then sleep the day away." Iruka smiled as Kakashi stretched out and allowed him to snuggle closer and lay his head on his scarecrow's chest. He kissed pale skin as his breathing slowed and he drifted to sleep. Iruka smiled and looked up at his love's peaceful face. "I love you, Kashi" he whispered and was surprised when he got "mmffhloverukatoommm" he giggled before reaching out a tan arm to shut off the alarm set for the next morning. He could call in to work in the morning.
