A/N: Okay, so I had this crazy idea a while back...Co-written with my little sister. Title is Elvish for 'King'.

Disclaimer: Obviously, this does not belong to me. "Battle Hymn of the Republic" was written by Julia Ward Howe in 1862, after she observed the Civil War soldiers. Verse 4 is the only one with all the original words. (Just because it all fits. ;P)

Mine eyes have seen the glory of the coming of the King:

He has vanquished to the depths of time the Master of the Ring;

He hath loosed the power of his sword which is swift as lightning:

His truth is marching on.

.:.

I have seen him in the watch-fires of a hundred circling camps,

They have sung his many praises in the evening dews and damps;

I can see his righteous glory by the dim and flaring lamps:

His day is marching on.

.:.

I have read a fiery gospel writ in rows of mithril bright:

"Oh, the day shall come when he returns to stave off endless night;

Let the men of Gondor rout the darkness in all coming fights,

As they are marching on."

.:.

He has sounded forth the trumpet that shall never call retreat;

He is sifting out the hearts of men before his judgment seat:

Oh, be swift, my soul, to answer him! Be jubilant, my feet!

Our King is marching on.

.:.

In the lands of ancient Arnor he was born across the plains,

With a power in his heart and hands that rids us of our pains:

As he fought to make Men free so let us break our binding chains,

While he is marching on.

.:.

He is coming like the glory of the morning on the wave,

He is Wisdom to the mighty; he is Honor to the brave,

So the world shall be his kingdom, and the soul of wrong his slave,

As he is marching on.

.:.

Glory, glory, hallelujah!

Glory, glory, hallelujah!

Glory, glory, hallelujah!

The rightful King has come.
