A Rose For Beautifly

May sighed as she walked through a park. Suddenly, there was a flash of red. " Nyah!" Skitty cried.

" Skitty, you let your self out again."

" Nyah Nyah!" Skitty ran off.

" Skitty! Wait! Where do you think you're going?! Wait!" May chased after the pink pokemon. They ran on and on until they reached a clearing. "Skitty, is it that you want to train for the contest?" May smiled.

" Nyah!" Skitty cried and nodded.

" Um, okay! Let's work on your Blizzard! I have the perfect idea!" May brightened up. All her previous gloomy thoughts vanished as she shouted out the attack name. Needless to say, the attack messed up. Skitty meowed.

" I see you haven't changed, May. " A voice said from behind her.

" Drew, I REALLY don't need this right now." May grumbled.

" Need what, my expertise?" Drew smirked. His Roselia came out of it's pokeball.

" Drew, please. Leave me alone, okay?" Roselia walked up to May's Skitty.

" What's wrong with your master?" It asked.

" Nyah?" Skitty cocked it's head and continued chasing it's tail.

" Stupid…" Roselia muttered.

" May? What's wrong?" Drew asked, worried. Usually, she would try to make a smart remark, and fail spectacularly, but now she didn't even try.

" Go away."

" What's on your mind?"

" Nothing, just go away."

" Oh, so now I'm nothing?" Drew smirked. He saw May tense up.

" What makes you think I'm thinking about YOU? Of all the arrogant, stuck-up, selfish, criticizing, rude, mean, cute-" She immediately covered up her mouth, then muttered sadly, " Well now that you know, you're probably going to laugh at me. I should go." She ran off, leaving a stunned and confused Drew. Drew looked down and realized May forgot her Skitty. Smiling, he gave a rose and a small note to Skitty and told it to give it to it's master. Nodding, it ran off, and Drew and Roselia left the clearing.

Dear May,

This is for you. My Beautifly.
