Things were different everywhere she went. Whether it was at her work, out on the town, someplace far, far away… she was always a different person. She was a hard-working women to her colleagues, the normal customer at the coffee shop- even if it was at 3 in the morning-, she was a soon to be wife, and the stranger on the street all rolled into one. And maybe, just maybe, that was the way she was supposed to be. Maybe that's the way it always was and maybe that's the way it always would be. Well except to him.

In his eyes she was everything. She was exactly the way she was supposed to be. She was his loving girl-friend and his savior. And in his eyes she was absolutely perfect. He knew all her little quirks and what made her smile. He knew about her "little" shoe fetish and how everything in her room had to have a purpose and how she had to have control over her fate. And, even knowing all that- and oh so much more- he still loved her. Maybe that was what kept her going all this time. Knowing that when times got tough he'd always be there and wouldn't care if she ruined his knew shirt with her tears.

In her eyes he too was perfect. He was everything from the above and more. Except you'd have to change the whole girl-friend thing to being the love of her life. Though what scared her most was how she'd almost missed out on this era of her life. She had almost taken the easy way out because she was so tired of waiting. That and she'd taken some advice the wrong way. Though if you asked she would never admit to it. But in the end she'd made the right choice. She was engaged with the best man she could ever ask for.

It was all this that made Samantha Carter live. Everything from the way he looked at her to his sense of humor made her smile and kept her going. So now, she didn't care if no one knew that she'd saved the world. That she was know as the stranger on the street or the romance reader in the coffee shop instead of their hero didn't matter to her. What did matter was that she was alive and so was he and they were in love. 'til death do them part and even after that.

I hope you enjoyed that. You can take that anyway you want. Doesn't really matter in that area. What does matter is that I hope you liked it and I hope you'll give me some reviews!
