Repressing Humanity
Fire burning brightly
Smelling like heat
Its blaze burning through the mind
The pages fluttering helplessly
Wailing of pain and grief
Knowledge, now beyond our grasp
Once was at our fingertips
Now ignorance maintains
Minds following this path
As sheep, herded into a fence
Locked away forever more
Intelligence is chained
Its glory now extinct called unfavorable
By society and its ways
In a box hidden away
Until its great rise someday again
