1.1 Monologue to Character 2
Jonathan Archer: My brother and I get along o.k. just that sometimes he gives me a headache 'cause he laughs really loud, I can shut him up halfway. So I've got some control with quieting him down but when it comes to my spouse, him being mad is a major drag. I like taking his advice but sometimes his advice doesn't help me. He is very sensitive to his advice if it doesn't work so I don't tell him if it doesn't help me. Someone once told him that his advice didn't work and he got really upset so, I don't tell him. I'm afraid to hurt his feelings over the advice. If Mal keeps being mean to
T'Pol I'm going to break out and hit him! Plus throw him out of the house with his little dog too! Unlike my brother, I'm not interested in making peace. I'll yell at him to defend T'Pol and not for him to be so mean to her.
Brother/Malcolm: T'Pol told me that she wants to get rid of the dog because she's allergic to it. My brother is very angry that he has to do that. He should get rid of his spouse instead of the dog. Jon doesn't know how she feels about the dog; she doesn't like it at all! He said something about getting a cat but why would he want that? It's just a different type of pet dander to get a new set of allergies too. I wouldn't mind having the dog at all but Jon would want to have the dog Porthos, in his life completely. That means in the same house with him 24-7. There is no medicine to give a mutt a good smell, just so T'Pol doesn't sneeze.
