At one she was jovial, the twinkle in her parents eyes. Always on the move, the maker of mayhem. She actually listened to her grandfather.
At five, she was pure innocence. She loved to run in and out of the shrine, making friends with the spirits around her. She learned to ride a bike, despite the failed attempts.
At ten, her baby brother was her friend. They hardly separated. She tried to forget about her father's death. Pushing it into the shadowy part of her mind. Despite the pain, the abstract universe ignored it. The pain became a piece of yesterday she no longer needed.
At fifteen, she fell through the well. She became ensnared in a search for the Shikon shards. She befriended a Half demon, a fox demon cub, a lecherous monk, and a temperamental demon slayer. She became a priestess, despite the way she thought her grandfather had lost it. She really didn't believe in what she had became, until after the whole journey had arisen. She had battled countless demons and corrupted humans. Engulfed in the past, the girl that had overcome time was battling a war of her own. Love.
At twenty, her quest was now a fairy tale. Her ashes lay buried under the god tree. The girl that had overcome time and the boy that was overcome had loved and died. Together in death.
