Author's Note: This story was the first I ever started. Since I gave up on it a while ago the projects I have worked on have been fanfiction or original short stories. This remains my only significant original story, ever. Because fanfictions do not leave room for the delusion of them being published one day I value this more than my other works.
During christmas break I just happened to stumble across an astoundingly inspiring fantasy game. It got me thinking about this story line again. Insert several other sources of ideas to draw from and month long time-skip here.
Now I have twenty pages of notes on the world of Idroth, the overarching plotline, subplots, character traits, references to add, government system, races, history, god hierarchy, and the mechanisms of magic. I have completely remade the entire world in which Téqua lives, her role in it, and much more.
And unfortunately none of it will be posted here. It is not even remotely fanfiction anymore and the only thing it has in common with the Inheritance Cycle is that dragons and dragon riders exist and have a policing role in society. It is my delusional hope that one day I will be able to publish Téqua, and that would be severely hampered if the book was up on the web free for anyone to read.
So, I am sorry for the bad news. If you were a fan of this story remember that your encouragement helped keep it alive when it was close to death.
