The manor had been arranged for the service, after eventually having redecorated it to remove all the horrors that Voldemort had put into it, and Draco was ready, or as ready as he felt he could be.

A Slytherin and a Gryffindor getting married, before the war it would have been panic and worry but now they just had to decide the theme and the wedding was sorted, in gold and silver.

The suit Draco was wearing as he stood at the front of the room, by the placed alter, was well fitted and silver with a gold tie but fashion for once wasn't something on the Slytherin's mind.

All that Draco could think about was who was meant to be seconds away from walking through the door, ready to be bonded to him for life.

There had been crashes outside earlier on, but Draco had known that his mother or father could and would sort it out for him, even if his father still resented the choice Draco had made on who his husband would be. Otherwise Dobby had been asked to do all he could to make the day stay perfect.

Harry arrived at Malfoy Manor with Ron and Hermione in time for when he was meant to enter the room set for the bonding ceremony, but things didn't look set to go to plan.

Lucius was stood in the way, with a malicious glint in his eye, but nobody was going to let Draco's father ruin the day. "This game ends here Potter. You should have died instead of the Dark Lord." Lucius glared, still rejecting the losses he had suffered when Voldemort fell.

"Actually I think you'll find everyone else here thinks Voldemort did the right thing by dying, now can I get past because you're making me late for my wedding. Or should I call Dobby?" Harry replied calmly, wondering what would happen if he shouted for Draco, since there had already been more than a few arguments with Lucius about Harry marrying Draco.

"I'm not moving Potter." Lucius replied, making sure to keep his voice quiet, reluctant to argue with his son again.

Ron laughed, "Draco, Dobby, can one of you get out here? Dobby might be best." He yelled, knowing they'd both come, if only to see what the trouble was.

Dobby was there in an instant, already aiming his arms at his old master. "You shall not harm Harry Potter." The house elf squeaked, apparently having heard some of what had been happening from his seat near the middle of the church.

"Then this will nicely be cancelled." Lucius smiled, not hearing the door open behind him.

Harry grinned over Lucius's shoulder at Draco. "I think it's going to carry on Lucius, whether you're here or not. Dobby, can you get him out of the way for us?" Harry asked.

"Actually Dobby, can you keep him here? My dear Father should at least see his only son happily wed." The sarcasm in Draco's voice bit into Lucius's mind. "Maybe show him to his seat on the front row."

Dobby bowed, "Master Draco has some good ideas. Come on Lucius." with a click of his fingers Dobby forced Lucius to follow him into the room.

Hermione smiled, "If I'm meant to be leading the ceremony I better get to the alter now, and so should you Draco. You'll see Harry again in just a few seconds so stop staring." she teased, following Lucius into the room, waving at the Weasley's as they entered. Draco looked once more at the raven-haired man in a golden suit with a silver tie, smiling before turning to head back to the alter.

"Positions please." Harry heard Hermione call, as he linked arms with Ron who Draco had suggested gave him away.

"Start the music already." The pair heard Draco grumble, as they opened the doors once again to enter.

The room was beautiful, with the gold and silver colour scheme working perfectly, even if only Draco and Harry had actually worn the colours except for the ties and sashes the rest of the wedding party wore white.
