" I believe it is friend Beast Boy's."
" Where is the little grass stain anyway?"
" Where he always is at 12:30. In his room, sleeping."
" Somebody go get him."
silence
" Fine I will!!!!!"
Outside Beast boy's door
"Beast Boy!!!! Wake up! You have to go grocery shopping!!"
"Fine! I'll be out in a second!"
"Hurry up!"
10 minutes later
" Stupid shopping, probably not even my turn, darn it I forgot the stupid list, whatever, Whoa! What was that?!"
And there, right in front of him was a gigantic pyramid of yes, you guessed it, Pocky!!!
The banner read "Pocky is Love!"
'hhhmmmmmmm' Beast Boy thought. If only Raven liked this stuff. He would buy her the whole pyramid. Guess the banner didn't work for everyone. Without another thought about it he picked up a couple of boxes for himself and added it with the other groceries. He walked past the pyramid to find the other things he had to get.
As he was walking back to the cash register he saw the pyramid again. But this time he saw the other side. Right there was yes, Pocky, but not just any Pocky. No. This was special Pocky. It was Pocky he knew would bring him success. He was wrong about the banner. It worked for anyone. Pocky was love. And that one type of Pocky that might give him the tiniest bit of love was right in front of him. In front of him was herbal tea Pocky.
( I know it sounds weird, but isn't there something like green tea Pocky? No? Well If there isn't, I just thought of a new type of Pocky! Tea Pocky!)
For a few seconds he just stared. His little brain had to think about this very slowly.
'hmmm. Let me think. Pocky is love. Hmmm. Herbal tea is in the cart. Herbal Tea Pocky. Herbal tea for Raven. Pocky is love. Hmmm. I know! I'll get Raven Herbal Tea Pocky!'
And that is how he ended up back at Titans Tower with two bags of groceries and three bags of Herbal Tea Pocky.
When he walked in the kitchen no one was there. No one of course, besides Raven. And she didn't look too happy.
" There better be herbal tea in one of those bags"
" Relax Rae. I got you something even better."
" Even better? Oh no! What did you get?! You better have herbal tea!"
" Ta da! It's herbal tea, except sweet and covered over a breadstick! You'll love it! And I got chocolate Pocky so we could eat it together! Isn't this great!"
"This has to be the most stupid thing you have ever done. I cant believe you didn't-"
Before she could finish her sentence Beast Boy had jumped on the counter next to her and stuck a Pocky in her mouth. At first Raven was infuriated that he would go do something like that. But then as she sucked on the Pocky she tasted the herbal tea flavoring with the right amount of sweetness. She bit down and it tasted even better with the breadstick. She had never tasted anything like it in her whole life. Raven looked up at Beast Boy and smiled. " Thank you Beast Boy. This is really good." And she smiled again.
Beast Boy had one of those smirks on that practically scream " I told you so!" But in his mind he was thinking
' I made Raven smile! Twice! Pocky is love!'
And so there the two of them sat on the kitchen counter. Beast Boy shoving chocolate Pocky in his mouth and Raven nibbling on herbal tea Pocky.
