Seeing as this is the first time for me to write about practicing with broadswords(not sure if that's spelled right) and the first time I've wrote a kissing scene, I would like to know what I need to improve on. For the slower people out there(not that any of the readers are slow... yeah I'm a suck up), PLEASE REVEIW

Two Halves of One
The Crown Price of the Fire Nation was practicing with two broad swords. The
swords were a thirteenth birthday gift from his Uncle. However, Uncle Iroh was away for
a few weeks. He had some important business to attend to in another part of the Nation.
Unfortunately that meant the only people around were his sister, Azula, and her friends.
So naturally he went where they would never go, the weapons specialist training
room. Azula only cared about firebending and Ty Lee just did acrobats. Mai, she… Zuko
wasn't sure what she liked. She was always quiet and shy, but he figured she wouldn't
come here because he only saw her around Azula.
Anyway back to his practicing. Prince Zuko was trying to use two broadswords
without much success. He knew how to use one sword, but using two at once was
different. He swung one too hard and it went flying only to crush into the wall. He kicked
the ground in frustration.
"You're doing it wrong", a calm girl's voice said. Zuko turned to see Mai. She had
her black hair tied back in a pony tail and was wearing a red dress that had black lining.
She also had I slightly amused look on her face. The Prince found himself thinking that
she looked beautiful. He felt his face turn red.
"And you know how to use broadswords the right way?" he asked.
"Yes", she stated confidently. She walked over and picked up the fallen sword.
Then she went to Zuko and took the other sword from his hand. Their hands touched for a
moment and both blushed, but it quickly faded as Mai began to demonstrate.
"What you're doing wrong", she said, "is that you're thinking of the swords as
two; when they are really two halves of one." Zuko was amazed that she could wield
broadswords so well. Mai handed the swords back to him, but he found himself holding
her hands. Even more surprising was that he found his face getting closer to hers and then
their lips meeting. It was a quick first kiss, but when they pulled away both had a dazed
look.
"Aww, How cute!" Ty Lee said brightly from the door. Zuko and Mai turned red
and let go of each others hands. There was an awkward silence before Ty Lee continued,
"What I came to tell you is that Azula's looking for you."
"Oh… I should go", Mai said. Zuko thought she sounded disappointed at having
to leave. Ty Lee knew.
"Well… See you later and thanks for the advice", he said nervously.
"It was nothing. See you."
"Bye!" Ty Lee added.
As the two girls walked out of the room Zuko heard Mai make Ty Lee promise
not to tell Azula. Feeling better than before about being stuck with Mai, Ty Lee, and
Azula, he continued to practice. Only now he knew that broadswords were two halves of
one.
