Edited and re-uploaded on July 8, 2008. There was little I could do about an awful premise, but at least the writing is less-stilted and contains no fangirl Japanese.

The Biggest Toy Store EVER.
by Shimegami-chan
AUTHOR'S NOTE: This was a descriptive essay written for English class back in my weaboo days.
It's the biggest place I've ever seen! The top reaches fifty stories over my head! It goes on forever. Bigger than a mobile suit, bigger than ten mobile suits put together! Well...maybe a little smaller than that. Just about the size of a small space station, I'd say. Yeah, that's it! I bet from the top you can see forever. I'm so excited, and we're not even inside yet! The glass doors slide open like they're waiting for me, and who am I to deny them? I step inside...
In here is even better! Decorations of every color line the walls, and the walls are lined with a million toys! There are aisles of dress-up clothes and dolls and games--kid stuff. Where should I go? There's a section with party favours and posters, and one with games, and one with bikes. I eye the huge action figure section with glee...that's where I want to go!
From this end of the store I can see all the movies and video games, begging to be played. Kids try out an action game console in the corner, while the teenage clerk watches a movie on a ceiling monitor. He gives me a strange look, but I don't pay attention to him.
Outside the glass wall framing the electronics section is a row of counters where you pay for stuff, and this time I've actually got money to do it. What should I buy? I wander into an aisle filled with model cars and planes and shiny metal trucks. A mobile suit model will suit me fine, I think. I pick one and head to the counter where a middle-aged lady takes the kit and puts it in a white plastic bag big enough to have held another ten just like it. She doesn't ask if it's for my little brother or anything, she just smiles and wishes me a nice day. I thank her, saying that I already have! I walk away, passing video games and bubble machines, heading for the exit. There is a small porch lined with toy machines and then another opening door, ushering me out into the chilly air. The music in my ears and the rush of excitement fade away slowly as I step out, hugging the bag to my chest.
Heero's waiting for me by the door. "Duo. Was it really necessary to stay in there for twenty minutes?"
I nod in silent reply, hopping into the passenger side of the car.
He sighs and climbs in beside me. "Imagine, a seventeen-year-old guy running around in a toy store. I can't believe you."
I shrug. "Heh, well, must be second childhood." I gaze out the window as we pull away, wishing I could just go back and live in that childhood for a little longer. On the huge building a clown waves a fleeting good-bye to me and the sale signs flash, inviting me to hurry and come back to visit the toy store again.
