After the battle with organization members, they thought it would be best if they went there separate ways. In time they both moved on to different people, moved apart from each other. There life's were going good...but the thought of "what if we didn't move on?" still lingered in both there minds.
Sora and Riku were both unable to sleep, though they were miles apart they could feel the presence of each other and just couldn't forget their past. Riku had a new relationship with Leon and Sora rekindled his relationship with Kairi, they each left their beds and went into the next room. AS soon as Sora was in the next room his phone rang
Honey why are you calling me so late, it's kinda hard to talk right now, honey why are you crying is everything ok? I gotta whisper cause I can't be too loud... well my girl's in the next room, sometimes I wish she was you, I guess we never really moved on...
They talked on the phone. They were happy to hear each other speak, "I miss You Sora" Riku said. You could hear the hurt in his voice, he really did miss him.

their conversation continued for hours, and within those hours they wondered what they were doing with their lives...why weren't they together?...they didn't love who they were with...they loved each other...and they couldn't live without each other...and as tears ran down their faces...they packed their bags and Sora kissed Kairi's forehead goodbye...and Riku kissed Leon's cheek goodbye...they left them sleeping...and met each other on Destiny Island, built a house there and were finally together...forever...
