Eric Northman and Sookie Stackhouse FanFiction

As he crept into the old house Eric knew that he had to be even quieter then the dust that settled around him if he wanted to get Sookie out alive. He slowly tiptoed his way through the house thinking about what would have driven that sorry excuse of a vampire, Bill, to do such a thing. "It must have been his jealously. He was such a mad little boy when Sookie said that she loved me more. Nevertheless, what he has done is unforgivable. He will be trialled by the magister. If he makes it that far, at least."

Chapter One

One month earlier…

"Hey, Sook. Where are ya?" Called Jason, as he entered the house. He walked the kitchen to immediately drop his jaw from finding her collapsed on her knees in a pool of rich, red liquid with the two vampires, who so desperately fought for her attention most of the time they spoke or saw her, standing quietly, with crossed arms, behind her. She was soaked in Tara's blood with an unidentifiable body not far away.

"Hey, Jason." Replied Sookie, tears budding in her eyes.

"She has been like this for two hours now." Said Eric.

"Wh-what happened?" stammered Jason, still staring at Sookie.

"That there," answered Bill, looking over at the cold, faceless corpse "-is Debbie."

"All we could get out of Sookie is that, that dog came in, killed the girl-" Started Eric.

"Her name is Tara!" Snapped Sookie.

"Yes, my apologies." Said Eric sincerely, and then continued on to correct himself. "Killed Tara, Sookie killed the wolf and then his majesty and I showed up."

"Why didn't you call me?" Asked Jason, slightly aggravated.

"We do not know your number." Said Bill defensively.

"Eric said she was gone. That means that his blood… it was too late." She burst into tears. "Why? Debbie came for me, not you! You should have stayed back!" at that moment Eric used his speed to kneel behind and hold her tightly.

"Do not worry my dear Sookie. We will fix everything." He whispered softly. Her sobbing became greater and greater until her eyes became like faucets. Eric arose pulling her with him causing Tara's lifeless body to fall to the ground with a slight thud. He moved her around in his arms so that she was positioned with her arms around his neck, her legs over his left arm and her back supported by the other. The two disappeared into up-stairs bathroom at a human pace. The next sound heard was the taps.

"Well, what do we do now?" questioned Bill.

"What do you think, dumbass? You grab her—" he pointed to the faceless Debbie "—I'll grab Tara."
