The Temptation of Percy Jackson

Prologue

The moon held high in the night sky as it's light peaked through the cabin of Percy Jackson. Bathing the demi god in its light he shifted back and forth in his bed.

Soon groans escaped Percy's lips as beats of sweat pour down his face. For deep within in his dreams a female voice refused to leave him alone.

Percy...Percy.

The voice continued to repeat and finally instead of running Percy turned around. Thinking the worst his eyes widen when a golden specter in the form of a snake with a ruby in it's mouth floated before him.

"You are they key. The voice said.

"To what?" Percy asked.

"To awakening me..." The voice replied.

"This doesn't make any sense." Percy said.

"It will I promise." The voice said.

A gasps filled the air as Percy eyes shot open. Sitting up in his bed he took a deep breath before wiping the sweat off his face. He couldn't shake the weird dream in fact he had so many questions roaming through his head he couldn't get back to sleep.

Sighing Percy rose to his feet. He wandered out side walking on to the edge of his pier. Sitting down on the end of the pier with his feet touching the water Percy looked to the moon.

"Man what a weird dream I wonder what could it mean." Percy said aloud.

It didn't take long for a yawn to escaped his lips. Soon Percy laid down on the dock and finally closed his eyes. The voice was gone at least for now; which meant he could finally get some sleep.
