Both boys sat down on the bedroom floor, in silence for a few minutes, before Alvin decided to have some fun, and push Simon down, so he was flat on the ground.
"Ouch." Simon whined.
"This is what you get for stealing the Nutella." Alvin said, grinning. He turned around, placing his feet on either side of Simon, and kneeling down so he was inches away from him. "No sunset view."
"It's alright, this view is okay." Simon said, smiling.
"Just okay? This view is better than the sunset."
"This is also like the tenth time today that one of us is on top of the other."
"Fourth."
"What?"
"Fourth time."
"Oh, are we counting now?"
"Maybe."
Suddenly both boys went quiet. Neither daring to look away. Alvin noted that Simon's pupils were dilated. His heart raced. He pressed his face closer. "Yeah, I think I like this view too." He whispered.
Simon shuddered underneath him. "Do you, really?" He whispered back.
Alvin nodded, and then before he could change his mind, he was closing the tiny gap between them. Just barely, their lips touched.
Simon grunted, pushing up into the kiss. Alvin smiled into the kiss, surprised he wasn't being rejected.
Suddenly, he was being flipped over. Simon leaning down on top of him this time. He grinned before pressing their lips together. Alvin moaned lightly, running his hand through Simon's hair, relishing the feeling of his soft lips. Simon shifted, running his tongue across Alvin's bottom lip, asking for entrance. Alvin obliged, opening his lips slightly, leaning up into the kiss, his tongue darting into Simon's mouth. Simon moaned. He moved his lips, trailing down Alvin's neck, onto his collarbone. Alvin let out a shaky breath. "Simon." He whispered.
Simon stopped, pulling back. "Sorry. Did I do something? Is this too fast?" he asked, worry glinting in his eyes.
Alvin smiled, shaking his head. "We need to, uh, talk. About this." He said, hands pressed to Simon's chest. "What is this?"
Simon sat up, crossing his legs, facing Alvin, who mirrored him.
"Um, well. I think this is me kissing you." He said, smiling sheepishly.
"Well yes, I figured that much."
"Also, I think this is me telling you I like you, and praying that you like me too."
Alvin grinned. "Do I? I don't know…"
Simon's smile faltered. Alvin laughed, pushing his shoulder slightly. "I'm Joking Si. I think I've been in love with my brother for a while now."
He clamped his hand over his mouth, eyes wide. "I mean, I think I liked you, for... um, yeah, some time. I mean, not necessarily love, I mean, not that I don't, just not—" He was cut off by Simon pressing another kiss on his lips.
"You talk to much." He mumbled against Alvin's lips. "Just shut up and kiss me."
