How Legolas got his nickname.
It was a normal day in Middle Earth as the Prince of Mirkwood strolled down the halls of the palace. He decided he would go see his cousin, Selis Starroad. He knocked and she allowed him to enter. They spoke for a few minutes then Legolas said he had to go. She nodded and then said, " Bye Legoset." The Prince stopped and turned to her. She smiled innocently and repeated what she had said," Bye Legoset" he stormed from the room. Selis raced after him in order to explain why she called him that. She said," I called you that because I have called you that for years. But you dont remember because we haven't seen each other in over 50 years. PLease dont take it badly Lego..set." Legolas glared at her and walked off at a fast pace to get away from her. The few days that followed, everyone knew his nickname. Though he asked them repeatedly NOT to call him by his nickname, they did anyway. From that day on, the Elves would call him "Legoset" instead of Legolas. The Prince didn't like this but even his father said he would have to live with it.
This was the ending of when a friend of mine argued with me about Leholas. She ended calling him 'Legoset'. I got a kick outta it so worte a short story on it. Sorry about the Legolas bashing. He is my fav character and I love to pick on him so much. Please R/R!!
